PursuitSAFETY, founded June 30, 2007, in Chico, California, was incorporated October 30, 2007. The organization received its federal tax exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code March 28, 2008.

Our vision is to save the lives of innocent bystanders and our police officers.
Vehicular police chases and response calls have killed 4,500-plus innocent bystanders between 1982 and 2009. The FBI and respected researchers say the actual number is two to four times higher. These deaths did not keep you and me safe. In fact, just the opposite has happened for more than 4,500 law-abiding Americans.
